I love to procrastinate

I should be working on parts 2 and 3 of my lit review. Instead, I'm practicing my procrastination skills by reading other people's blogs, watching funny youtube videos, and going on twitter. Awesome.

Add this to the list of "Funny You-tube Videos that I Adore"

I can't get it to paste into blogger - but go to youtube.com and search for "A Day at the Office" You'll love it!!!!

While you're on youtube, also try "Potter Puppet Pals in The Mysterious Ticking Noise" Amazingly good.

No Sleep = Crazy Beth

Last week was crazy busy with work, thesis, and grad school. I think I slept about 4 hours a night for a week. I was off my rocker. On Friday night, I was convinced that I drove through the Weston tolls twice. (which is not possible)

I may have been sleep-deprieved, but I was super productive.
-The first half of my lit review is done and submitted!
-My weekend class is over. Final taken, all projects/papers are in!
-We got a consult on one of my students by Dr. Pat Friman, an anxiety specialist. (Pretty much one of the coolest days of my life) (I freely admit to my overwhelming geekiness)

I'm pretty pleased with life today. I got tons done. I took yesterday and today off from work. Yesterday, I went out to lunch with Ma and Pa which always makes me happy. And I got a lobster which makes my belly super happy.

Wow, I suck at blogging

I seriously suck at blogging! I forgot that this even existed until a few hours ago. I should be working on the lit review for my thesis, but, hey, this is so much more fun!

In other news:
-Life in Boston is lovely. It's been raining for WEEKS which sucks. On the good side, due to the rain, I can wear my green and pink polka-dotted rain boots!
-Work is great. Lots and lots to do, but overall I love what I do.
-I have fallen in love with NYC all over again. Man, I love that city. Some day, I'll live there!
-I went to Iceland for the weekend a week ago. Amazing little country. Crazy nightlife. The city is a ghost town during the day then insanely busy at night. The little coffee shops turn into crazy bars as of midnight. Ate some crazy food! Went on a whale watch. Saw the first Viking settlement in Iceland.
-Still in grad school....I'm writing a thesis which is slowly consuming my life. I'm actually super excited about it - I'm working on ways to increase age-appropriate leisure skills in kiddos with significant special needs.

I've gotta get better about blogging more frequently....
